Everything you need to know about how Moniic works from booking a chauffeur to managing your ride. If you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Don’t worry! When you book with a credit/debit card or Apple Pay/Google Pay, the estimated fare is only authorized (not charged). If the trip is canceled, the hold is automatically released typically instantly. However, depending on your bank, it may take 3–5 business days to reflect. If the amount hasn’t been released after that, we recommend contacting your bank for further assistance.

You can add a card or mobile payment by tapping the ‘Payment Method’ button located next to the ‘Book’ button during booking. You’ll find options to add a Credit/Debit Card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. You can also add payment methods anytime via Account Settings > Payment Methods.

Yes! You can pay using the POS terminal available in the car. If you need help, contact support and our Concierge team can send you a payment link.

A cancellation fee applies if you cancel more than 5 minutes after the chauffeur accepts your booking. The rest is refunded. Once the fee is settled, you’re good to go with your next booking.

You’ll see a fare estimate based on your selected category, route, and booking type (Ride Now or Hourly) before confirming. Please note the final fare may change slightly due to distance, traffic, or waiting time.

Hourly rates vary by car category. To view them:

  1. Open the Moniic app
  2. Select Hourly Ride
  3. Enter your pickup location
  4. Browse available categories and hourly rates
  5. Choose your duration (2–12 hours)

When you book hourly, the car and chauffeur are reserved exclusively for you—even if you use less time. This ensures service availability and respects the chauffeur’s commitment.

While we can’t guarantee a specific model just yet, we recommend scheduling your ride in advance and contacting our Concierge team. They’ll do their best to accommodate your request.

Yes! Use our Co-Pilot feature while booking or via your Account Preferences. You can set your AC temperature, lighting, and more—and your chauffeur will receive these preferences in advance.

Interiors vary by model. If you have a specific preference, please book in advance and let our Concierge team know—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Please request it again. If it still doesn’t arrive, call 800-MONIIC and our team will assist you.

Currently, we can’t update phone numbers on an existing account. But you can:

  1. Create a new account using your new number
  2. Request to delete your old account via Account Settings > Delete My Account

Easy! Just go to:

  1. Menu >
  2. Scroll to the bottom >
  3. Tap Delete My Account and confirm.

Note: that this option triggers a request to our team to process the deleting of your account and may take up to 3-5 business days to complete the request.

Scheduled times cannot be modified directly. However, you can cancel for free up to 1 hour before your ride and rebook at your preferred time.

Absolutely! In your app, you’ll see an option to start the trip early. Tap it and your chauffeur will begin the ride.

It means all cars in that category are currently in use. You can either wait a few minutes or try booking another category.

This usually happens when no vehicles are available in your selected category. We suggest trying another category or booking at a later time.

Your chauffeur will be waiting at the terminal, holding an iPad or sign with your name.

No stress. If you’ve entered your flight details while creating the booking, our Concierge team tracks your flight and updates the chauffeur accordingly.

Of course! You can add up to 3 stops when creating booking or even while on the ride. Additional time or distance may affect the final fare.

The app will show you the estimated arrival time for each car category. Arrival depends on the chauffeur's distance from you and current traffic.

Yes, but with a condition. Moniic is only licensed to pick up from Dubai. To do a round trip to Abu Dhabi, book an Hourly Ride—your chauffeur will wait and bring you back. We can’t process two separate bookings for Abu Dhabi pickups.
